Analytics solutions provider PointRight has introduced new predictive analytics and performance measurement tools, which can be used by healthcare payer organisations.

Designed to improve consumer experience and clinical outcomes, the tool set is suitable for hospitals, managed care organisations (MCOs), accountable care organisations (ACOs), CMS bundled payment contractors and speciality care organisations.

PointRight developed the tool set based on its 20 years of experience in partnering with skilled nursing facilities (SNFs).

The company’s analytics solutions allows payer organisations to improve the quality of post-acute networks and care transitions, in addition to tracking members’ health status in real-time and ensure care plans address all of members’ risk factors.

PointRight executive vice-president Steven Littlehale said: "As the healthcare industry moves its focus from volume to value, there is a tremendous need for providers and payers to align.

"For the past 20 years, we have been the champion of SNF provider, leading the way with minimum data set (MDS) data analytics to reduce unnecessary re-hospitalisations, efficiently improve quality of care and exceed compliance mandates."

The company designed four analytics-powered solutions that will increase efficiency and decrease cost of care.

The solutions include building and managing a quality network of SNFs focused on improved patient results and understanding members’ needs, risks and impairment in real-time. Its other solutions comprise matching members’ needs to the right provider and identifying care gaps and improving risk adjustment.

PointRight helps healthcare providers and payers to measure risk, quality of care, re-hospitalisation, compliance and reimbursement accuracy.
