
Physicians Endoscopy, Ambulatory Center for Endoscopy (ACE), in partnership with Holy Name Medical Center, acquired Hudson Bergen Endo Surgical Center in New Jersey.
As per the terms of the deal, Hudson Bergen Endo Surgical Center, which was formerly named Hudson Bergen Medical Center, will now formally become the second location for the existing ACE.
In 2012, Physicians Endoscopy formed a strategic partnership with ACE and has been supporting the centre with clinical and operational services for more than last nine years.
Physicians Endoscopy vice president for operations Larry Trenk said: “We are excited to leverage our existing partnership with Ambulatory Center for Endoscopy, LLC and enter into a new partnership with Holy Name Medical Center through this acquisition.
“We are committed to delivering excellence and safety in gastrointestinal patient care using state-of-the-art endoscopic medical technology and the latest procedural practices at Hudson Bergen Endo Surgical Center.”
Hudson Bergen Endo Surgical Center is a licensed facility that accommodates patients who require GI care and general surgical procedures. The partnering physicians are estimated to perform more than 4,000 procedures per year.
