QuidelOrtho has launched its new informatics solution, the QuidelOrtho Results Manager system, aimed at enhancing the user experience for point-of-care settings and community hospitals.

The system is tailored to meet the needs of contemporary laboratories.

It offers real-time quality monitoring, operational efficiency through streamlined workflows, and connectivity that supports multiple instruments and users.

The system also promotes improved clinical decision-making with optimised delivery of outcomes and affordable deployment for easy installation and immediate operational impact.

QuidelOrtho Labs and Transfusion Medicine Business Units senior vice-president Bryan Hanson said: “The Results Manager system addresses the critical challenges laboratories face today—rising test volumes, staffing shortages and increasing complexity—while maintaining a focus on high-quality patient care.

“We’re proud to deliver an intuitive, agile solution that supports our customers’ evolving needs.”

The Master Data Module feature of the system allows for rapid assay setup, and the drag-and-drop interface minimises errors and improves the efficiency of staff, ultimately supporting improved patient outcomes.

With the integrated quality control tools and real-time insights, laboratories will be able to streamline their processes and concentrate on essential tasks.

This system is part of a strategic move to bolster informatics capabilities across QuidelOrtho’s diagnostics portfolio.

MB Healthcare Services implemented the system at its lab.

MB Healthcare Services lab manager Steve Mulliner said: “From installation to daily use, the process has been seamless. Our team loves the intuitive interface, the ability to add assays quickly and the power to write complex rules without extensive training.

“The system’s real-time monitoring tools and in-depth QC capabilities have already begun to improve our troubleshooting and decision-making processes, allowing us to deliver more reliable and efficient care to our patients.”
