RaySearch Laboratories has launched RayCare v2025, an advanced oncology information system designed to streamline clinical workflows and improve data management in cancer care.

The latest version introduces significant improvements, including Microsoft Word integration, DICOM Modality Worklist, and Health Level Seven (HL7) inbound scheduling support.

RayCare v2025’s integration with Microsoft Word enables oncology professionals to generate and update patient-related documents directly within the patient chart, promoting consistent documentation process.

Imaging workflows can be optimised through DICOM Modality Worklist integration. This enables imaging devices to retrieve patient and appointment data automatically, reducing manual inputs and the risk of mistakes.

The update further improves care coordination by allowing RayCare to receive appointments from external systems, including hospital information systems, via HL7 inbound scheduling support.

This reduces the administrative burden and enhances the overall interoperability of the treatment chain.

The diagnosis module now features automatic cancer staging that is in line with the eighth edition American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) guidelines, aiding in standardised and precise clinical decision-making.

RayCare v2025 extends its compatibility to include new treatment delivery platforms and unveils a new RayCare Treatment user interface designed to streamline the management of beam sessions.

The system now integrates with Accuray Radixact, Accuray CyberKnife, and IBA ProteusOne.
