In the previous year, Vitas provided services to more than 52,000 hospice patients throughout Florida.

The organisation operates in 59 service areas across 15 states and the District of Columbia, attending to over 22,000 patients each day in their homes, inpatient hospice facilities, and in collaboration with assisted living communities, hospitals, and nursing homes.
In April 2024, Vitas introduced hospice care services in Alabama, providing end-of-life care to patients and families in Daphne-Mobile and Dothan.
