Burjeel Holdings, a healthcare provider in the MENA region, has launched an electronic medical record (EMR) platform to boost AI adoption and the use of data in providing evidence-based care.
The Oracle Health EMR platform aims to enhance clinical outcomes and increase operational efficiencies across Burjeel's network.
It offers simplified access to patient data, allowing healthcare providers to make informed decisions in real-time.
Through data analytics, the platform provides actionable insights and with integrated alerts and protocols, it streamlines workflows and bolsters patient safety.
These improvements reduce patient waiting times, enhance clinical outcomes and increase clinician-patient face-to-face engagement.
With security, scalability and real-time coordination capabilities, the platform is a significant addition to Burjeel's clinical operations.
The Oracle Health EMR solution will be implemented on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) within the Oracle Cloud Dubai Region.
The rollout of the EMR system has commenced at key Burjeel facilities, encompassing Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi, BMC, and Burjeel Day Surgery Center, Al Reem Island.
These initial deployments are crucial for a structured expansion across the group’s healthcare network.

More than 3,700 Burjeel employees have undergone training for the transition, supported by super-users, lead super-users, and over 60 Oracle experts.
Leveraging Oracle's cloud infrastructure, the platform facilitates interoperability within Burjeel's clinical ecosystem, enabling information exchange among patients, providers and facilities, essential for care delivery models.
