Singapore-based Farrer Park Hospital has announced a strategic collaboration with Alliance Healthcare Group, focusing on healthcare delivery innovation and enhancing patient outcomes.

The partnership seeks to improve patient outcomes and redesign the traditional healthcare delivery model, as well as improve the cooperation between healthcare providers, payers, and physicians.

The alliance will create a sustainable model for inpatient care and introduce a Home Recovery Programme for patients at the acute care hospital.

To be managed by Alliance Healthcare Group subsidiary Jaga-Me, the programme will allow Farrer Park Hospital patients to receive treatment in the comfort of their own homes.

A key component of this programme is the reduction of hospitalisation time, which is expected to improve patient satisfaction and provide cost-efficient care.

It will provide homecare services such as remote monitoring, ultrasound imaging, blood tests, nursing procedures, and intravenous medication administration.

The Home Recovery Programme is designed to assist individuals in their recovery following medical treatments, surgeries, or illnesses, with an emphasis on safety and convenience.

Farrer Park Hospital and Alliance Healthcare Group are focusing on the long-term effects of this collaboration.

This partnership aims to prepare for more future healthcare initiatives.

Farrer Park Hospital, which encompasses the Farrer Park Medical Centre, offers a range of services such as medical technology, nuclear medicine, and radiology, to support various surgical specialities.

In February 2023, Farrer Park Hospital entered a clinical collaboration with Allegiant Regional Care (ARC) Hospitals to promote ongoing medical education for specialists and physicians.

As a part of this partnership, the two healthcare organisations are expected to cooperate to enhance patient care and advance clinical innovation.
