Grand View Health and St Luke's University Health Network have signed an agreement to partner and unite their healthcare services, a move poised to enhance patient care quality across their networks.

The partnership, anticipated to be finalised by mid-to-late 2025, is subject to regulatory review and closing conditions.

It has received unanimous support from the boards of both organisations.

This strategic move follows a non-binding letter of intent (LOI) signed in September.

Grand View president and CEO Doug Hughes said: “This is a strategic decision to assure Grand View’s future for the benefit of our community and our patients.

“Our Board of Trustees and senior leadership team welcome this opportunity to become part of St Luke’s, a network whose name is synonymous with quality, compassionate care and an outstanding culture.”

Grand View Health, a community-based health system headquartered in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, has been serving Bucks and Montgomery counties since 1913.

St. Luke’s president and CEO Rick Anderson said: “Grand View, as does St. Luke’s, enjoys a long and proud history of providing high-quality and compassionate care to its communities, which is why the two organisations will be excellent partners.

“All of us at St Luke’s are extremely honoured and pleased Grand View will be joining our Network.”

St Luke's University Health Network, with more than 20,000 employees and $4bn in revenues, operates 15 hospital campuses and over 350 outpatient sites serving 11 counties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The health network is known for its integrated regional healthcare services.

Anderson added: “Together as partners, Grand View and St Luke’s will enhance each organisation’s ability to provide superb quality care and service for our patients and communities.”
