Gachon University Gil Medical Center (GUGMC) in South Korea has selected Rimini Street, an enterprise software support provider, to maintain its Oracle Database software.

According to Rimini Street, the centre had been facing challenges with the software support offered by Oracle and was failing to meet the needs of its patients with the required speed.

The company said its solutions had allowed GUGMC to address these challenges.

Rimini Street's customised support services and Primary Support Engineer are reported to have significantly improved the stability and performance of the hospital's systems.

By partnering with Rimini Street, Gil Medical Center claims to have achieved cost savings and been able to allocate IT resources to strategic initiatives.

The collaboration offers guaranteed long-term support with no forced upgrades for a minimum of 15 years.
