US-based healthcare network Hartford HealthCare has partnered with Israeli health technology company Aidoc to improve diagnosis speed and care coordination via AI solutions.

The group has deployed Aidoc's aiOS platform and its FDA-approved algorithms to streamline patient care at its acute hospitals.

These solutions aim to minimise delays in patient care while connecting patients to the most suitable care teams at the right time.

Hartford HealthCare president and CEO Jeffrey Flaks said: “At Hartford HealthCare, we are harnessing the power of AI to reimagine what’s possible in healthcare.

“By reducing delays and improving access, this innovative tool can help us deliver care that’s not only faster but more personalised and impactful.

“We want to be the most consumer-centric system in healthcare and new tools like this help us get there.”

The partnership aims to improve disease notification while empowering care coordination and patient management through actionable insights.

These are intended to help multidisciplinary care teams make quicker, more informed clinical decisions.

Aidoc noted that its aiOS platform was integrated into Hartford HealthCare's existing IT systems within three weeks, saying this showcased the platform's adaptability and scalability.

Aidoc CEO Elad Walach said: “To achieve go-live in just three weeks speaks to the strength of our collaboration with Hartford HealthCare.

“By combining Hartford HealthCare’s vision for innovative, patient-centred care with Aidoc’s scalable AI solutions, we are setting a new standard for personalised, data-driven care that delivers real impact.”

Hartford HealthCare and Aidoc will also work to create AI-driven models that address healthcare needs by integrating them into real-world clinical workflows.

The partners aim to improve innovation by jointly developing point-of-care use cases and clinical workflow solutions.

Hartford HealthCare plans to fully implement Aidoc's enterprise AI over the next 12 months.

Last year, the group partnered with healthcare data company Wellstack to improve its data-driven decision-making and patient-centred care.
