Triton Pacific Healthcare Partners' portfolio company Integrated Pain Associates (IPA) has partnered with Lubbock Spine Institute (LSI), broadening its foothold in Texas, US.

Through this development, patients in Lubbock, Midland, and Amarillo are expected to benefit from a range of minimally invasive procedures and therapies outside of hospital settings. These pain management solutions target the root causes of pain.

IPA CEO Elodie Day said: “We view ourselves not only as a forerunner but also as a driver of the paradigm shift. The partnership between IPA and LSI provides even greater impetus behind our efforts. LSI is strongly aligned with our vision and brings a highly skilled team of providers that are ideally equipped to help promote our shared goals.”

Since its partnership with Triton Pacific in 2023, IPA has broadened its geographic presence, aiming to address the unmet requirements in underserved communities.

IPA president Dr Scott Irvine said: “The pain management space has undergone a meaningful evolution, shifting away from the archaic dichotomy between invasive surgeries and medication management to centre on minimally invasive procedures that produce better outcomes.

“IPA and LSI share a commitment to advancing this superior clinical model and providing best-in-class care for our patients.”

Despite the opportunities presented by clinical innovation, many pain management practices have faced challenges in participating in this evolution due to operational complexities and “limited access” to training, highlighted Triton Pacific.

LSI spokesperson Dr Bolkar Sahinler said: “We are immensely excited to partner with IPA.  This is an opportunity for us to participate in building a truly differentiated platform where clinical excellence and strategic thinking converge.  With the combined capabilities of IPA and LSI, we anticipate meaningful benefits for both patients and providers.”

Headed by Sal Favuzza and Joshua Kaye, DLA Piper offered advisory services to IPA and Triton Pacific, and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, with Scott Schwartz and Paul Carr-Rollitt, advised LSI.
