US-based Memorial Hermann Health System has invested in Kahuna Workforce Solutions, a provider of skills and clinical competency management software for clinician management.  

This move is set to bolster the capabilities of clinicians to meet the varied needs of patients in Greater Houston and worldwide.

This partnership aims to transform clinical competency management from traditional paper-based processes to a digitised platform, facilitating smoother onboarding, reducing risks related to documentation inconsistencies, and enhancing transparency for frontline staff.

The investment from Memorial Hermann comes on the heels of Kahuna’s $21m Series B funding round in November 2023 spearheaded by Resolve Growth Partners.

Together, these financial boosts are set to strengthen Kahuna's mission of empowering healthcare organisations to develop future-ready workforces with tools for operational skills and initiatives that are tailored for frontline workers.
