Thailand’s Thammasat University Hospital has teamed up with NEC Thailand to build a digital health platform.

The duo entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard.

Thammasat University Hospital offers outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care, with its elderly care unit Thammasat Thammarak Center providing OPD geriatric, palliative care, as well as rehab services, among others.  

The latest alliance will help the facilities digitise health records and treatment plans, improving communication between healthcare providers, elderly patients, and their families.

As part of the partnership, NEC will install IoT devices to detect falls and introduce an alert system to notify patient families and caregivers in the event of emergencies.

Thammasat Thammarak Center is constructing a Medical Building for the elderly. Expected to be operational in 2025, the facility will comprise around 200 beds for elderly care.
