New England Life Care (NELC) in the US has chosen ScriptMed Infusion, a cloud-native pharmacy management software from Inovalon, to enhance its home infusion services.

NELC will utilise ScriptMed Infusion's customisable features to improve patient engagement and support data-driven decision-making.

The software aims to empower providers to deliver patient-centred care and improve operational efficiencies. Its real-time analytics, streamlined workflows and interoperability features are also expected to improve patient engagement.

In addition to adopting ScriptMed Infusion, NELC is integrating Inovalon's DataStream technology to provide on-demand access to patient-specific clinical data, including critical diagnosis and medication profiles.

The integration is set to enhance clinical workflows, patient experience, and informed care decisions by prepopulating patient medical history data.

ScriptMed Infusion is designed to consolidate pharmacy operations into a single, scalable platform. It automates manual tasks, improves scheduling and facilitates precise billing and reimbursement.

The software also supports site-of-care management and delivers real-time insights, aiming to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ultimately, provide better patient outcomes.
