PAM Health has announced the acquisition of Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital in the US, which becomes the company’s second location in the state.

This rehabilitation hospital will operate under the name, PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana North.

As of 3 December 2024, the acquisition marks the healthcare provider's continued expansion within Indiana.

Situated in New Albany, the newly acquired facility joins PAM Health's existing hospital in Clarksville, enhancing the company's service offerings in the region.

The new Albany hospital is certified by both the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and The Joint Commission.

It offers specialised treatment for patients recuperating from serious illnesses and injuries.

These include conditions such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain, strokes, amputations, and orthopaedic conditions.

Patients will benefit from technologies, including an aquatic therapy pool, which are integral to their rehabilitation processes.

Based in Enola, Pennsylvania, PAM Health manages a network of post-acute healthcare services.

With more than 100 long-term acute care hospitals, behavioural health hospitals, medical rehabilitation facilities, and numerous outpatient physical therapy locations and wound care clinics, PAM Health serves communities across 23 states.
