Seimens diagnostic system

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital in the UK has deployed the ACUSON S2000 diagnostic ultrasound system from Siemens Healthcare.

The diagnostic ultrasound system will provide 2D doppler and 3D/4D imaging and support a variety of procedures including image-guided injections, musculoskeletal procedures and achilles work.

The ACUSON S2000 system, powered with high-density element array transducers, will provide improved image resolution and allow clinicians to distinguish fine tissue detail.

The system is expected to deliver a comprehensive suite of tissue strain applications such as eSie Touch and Virtual Touch.

The system is also ergonomically designed for ease-of-use in hospitals and puts the most frequently used controls within easy reach, according to Siemens.
