The 206-bed Greenwich Hospital, a member of Yale New Haven Health, serves lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York.

The new Smilow Cancer Hospital will serve as an extension of the Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center, Connecticut’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The new development aims to enhance cancer care services and reduce the need for patients to travel for certain treatments.
The expansion will also introduce additional dedicated disease teams, expanding the existing range of specialists from Greenwich and Yale New Haven Health.
Patients in Greenwich seeking oncology care will gain access to advanced cancer treatments, including radiation oncology technology and therapies in patient-focused infusion spaces.

Smilow Cancer Hospital at Greenwich’s service line medical director William Oh said: “These improvements have focused on bettering the outcomes and experience of patients diagnosed with cancer.
