US-based virtual musculoskeletal (MSK) care provider Protera Health has expanded its collaboration with Bellin Health, to include Gundersen region of Emplify Health.

This collaboration comes after Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System’s merger in December 2022 and subsequent rebranding to Emplify Health last year.

The latest announcement builds upon the existing partnership laid in April 2024, when Bellin Health collaborated with Protera Health to provide virtual musculoskeletal (MSK) care to eligible health system employees.

Since the inception of the programme, Protera Health has reported substantial progress in various patient-reported outcome measures and other key metrics.

These advancements include notable decreases in pain levels and functional impairments, enhancements in mental health indicators, and high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction, stated Protera Health.

The enhanced partnership allows Protera Health to introduce its physician-led, MSK care model to a wider audience within the Emplify Health employee community.
