Providers across the healthcare system struggle to manage prior authorisations, eligibility checks, and claims. These tasks can divert attention away from patient care and create administrative burdens that may delay treatment and affect patient outcomes, Clover Health noted.
The portal delivers three main improvements. Centralised access offers a single, secure interface, enabling providers to handle essential administrative tasks across multiple health plans. This simplified access allows them to devote more time to patients and spend less time switching between different systems.
Streamlined prior authorisations enable faster approval workflows, helping to minimise delays in patient care.
Real-time transparency tools provide immediate eligibility verification and advanced claim tracking, ensuring providers receive the required information on time.

By GlobalDataClover Health Medicare Advantage CEO Jamie Reynoso said: “Providers have been clear, they need less red tape and more support in focusing on patients.
“This new portal is one of several steps we’re taking to ease administrative burden, accelerate decision-making, and deliver on our commitment to a more efficient provider experience, empowering them to focus on what they do best: delivering high quality care to their patients, faster.”
The collaboration is made possible by Availity’s role as the nation’s two-sided healthcare network, encompassing 3.4 million providers, health IT vendors, and direct links to over 95% of health plans.
The new portal will be launched in stages to achieve optimal performance and a positive provider experience while reducing disruption to patient care.
Working with pilot providers, Clover is planning to tailor the system before extending access across its entire network.
