
Italy healthcare industry registered an 11.2% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 14.94% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 28.78% share in June 2021, recording decrease of 1.03% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Italy healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100.61% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy healthcare industry in June 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 63.33% in June 2021, a 17.39% drop over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20% share, decline of 12% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.27%, registering a 41.18% rise from May 2021.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 6.36%, up 16.67% over the previous month.
Top five healthcare companies in Italy IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 7.31% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Italy healthcare industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
International Business Machines posted 281 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a drop of 14.59% over the previous month, followed by Atos with 19 jobs and an 1800% growth. DXC Technology with 10 IT jobs and Assicurazioni Generali with 4 jobs, recorded a 150% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Medtronic recorded a 25% decline with 3 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.55%, down by 24.47% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.85% share, a growth of 9.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.61% share, up 45.83% over May 2021.
