Netherlands-based company Koninklijke Philips’s IT hiring an increased 4.5% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.68% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 12.97% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 1.73% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Koninklijke Philips, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.7% in June 2021, and a 22.88% growth over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 11.91% in June 2021, and registered a 21.74% an increase. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 10.21% in June 2021, a 71.43% rise from May 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Koninklijke Philips

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global healthcare IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 42.55% share, which marked a 26.58% growth over the previous month.

North America stood next with 32.55%, registering a 24.39% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 17.23% share and a 1.22% drop over May 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 4.26% and a month-on-month an increase of 185.71%.Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 3.4%, registering a 33.33% rise over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 31.28% share in June 2021, a 40% growth over May 2021. India featured next with a 21.28% share, down 10.71% over the previous month.China recorded a 17.66% share, an increase of 144.12% compared with May 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Koninklijke Philips IT hiring activity in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.23%, up by 6.04% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.94% share, a growth of 85.42% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.98% share, up 74.29% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.85%, recording a month-on-month an increase of 300%.
