US-based company UnitedHealth Group’s IT hiring an increased 6.7% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 2.68% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 12.36% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 1.1% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops UnitedHealth Group IT hiring in June 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by UnitedHealth Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.03% in June 2021, and a 7.83% growth over May 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 13.38% in June 2021, and registered a 4.11% an increase. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.56% in June 2021, a flat growth from May 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at UnitedHealth Group
North America emerged as the leading region in the global healthcare IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 62.15% share, which marked a 3.22% growth over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 33.45%, registering a 7.95% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 3.52% share and a 28.57% drop over May 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.88% and a month-on-month an increase of 150%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 62.15% share in June 2021, a 3.82% growth over May 2021. India featured next with a 32.22% share, up 15.09% over the previous month.Ireland recorded a 2.11% share, decline of 53.85% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead UnitedHealth Group IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.51%, down by 11.98% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 26.58% share, a growth of 25.83% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.5% share, up 82.05% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.41%, recording a month-on-month an increase of 60%.
