The number of roles in Asia-Pacific made up 7.5% of total robotics jobs – up from 3.2% in the same quarter last year.
That was followed by North America, which saw a 1.8 year-on-year percentage point change in robotics roles.
The figures are compiled by GlobalData, who track the number of new job postings from key companies in various sectors over time. Using textual analysis, these job advertisements are then classified thematically.

The fastest growing country was Australia, which saw 1.8% of all robotics job adverts in the three months ending May 2021, increasing to 5.8% in the three months ending May this year.
That was followed by Germany (up -0.2 percentage points), Mexico (-0.4), and Hungary (-0.6).
The top country for robotics roles in the healthcare industry is the United States which saw 83.3% of all roles advertised in the three months ending May.
Which cities and locations are the biggest hubs for robotics workers in the healthcare industry?
Some 6.7% of all healthcare industry robotics roles were advertised in Nashville (United States) in the three months ending May.
That was followed by Wellington (United States) with 6.7%, Richmond (United States) with 5%, and Denver (United States) with 5%.
