October 2021 has seen a decrease of 1.53% in the overall hiring activity when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs accounted for a 0.51% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in October 2021, registering a decrease of 0.23% over the last three-month average share.
Computer Support Specialists Occupations leads by classification in October 2021
Computer Support Specialists Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 47.62% in October 2021, a 23.08% drop over the previous month. Computer and Information Analysts came in next, claiming a share of 23.81% in October 2021, marking a 25% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 19.05% in October 2021, a 100% rise from September 2021.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers registered a share of 4.76% in October 2021, a 66.67% decline over the previous month.
Top five healthcare companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average flat growth in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s healthcare industry during October 2021 over previous month.
Ramsay Health Care posted 9 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered an increase of 50% over the previous month, followed by HCA Healthcare with 6 jobs and a 62.5% drop. Penticton Regional Hospital with 4 IT jobs and McKesson with 2 jobs, recorded a 100% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while recorded a flat growth with job postings during October 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s healthcare industry
France commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 42.86% share in October 2021, a 50% increase over September 2021. The UK featured next with a 28.57% share, down 64.71% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 19.05% share, a growth of 100% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.43%, up by 15.38% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 23.81% share, registered a decline of 44.44% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Senior job ads with a 4.76% share, flat growth over September 2021.
