Germany’s just food industry registered a 3.9% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 45.06% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

Out of the just food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.03% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 2.05% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Germany’s just food industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s just food industry in March 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 58.18% in March 2022, registering a 146.15% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 21.82% share, a decrease of 20% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.73%, registering a 50% decline from February 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.45%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five just food companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 20% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s just food industry during March 2022 over February 2022.

HelloFresh posted 31 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 19.23% over the previous month, followed by Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 8 jobs and a 33.33% growth. Lotus Bakeries with 4 IT jobs and maxingvest with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 62.5% decrease, respectively, while Suedzucker recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during March 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.91%, up by 11.43% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with a 21.82% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.27% share, up 33.33% over February 2022.
