India’s healthcare industry IT recruitment activity drops 0.5% in July 2022

India’s healthcare industry registered a 0.5% drop in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 12.55% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the healthcare industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 23.46% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.06% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in India’s healthcare industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry in July 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 78.57% in July 2022, registering an 18.52% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 14.29% share, an increase of 33.33% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.14%, registering a flat growth from June 2022.

Top five healthcare companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 18.75% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s healthcare industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

CompuGroup Medical SEKGaA posted 10 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 44.44% over the previous month, followed by CitiusTech with 8 jobs and a 27.27% drop. Vitera Healthcare Solutions with 4 IT jobs and Agilon Health with 2 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a 100% growth, respectively, while RamSoft recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.14%, up by 33.33% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 42.86% share, registered a decline of 36.84% compared with the previous month.
