IT jobs claimed an 8.02% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.23% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops McKesson IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by McKesson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 30.3% in May 2022, and a 44.44% drop over April 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 18.18% in May 2022, and registered a decline of 25%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 18.18% in May 2022, a 100% rise from April 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global healthcare IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 96.97% share, which marked a 20% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 3.03%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month decline.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with an 81.82% share in May 2022, a 25% decline over April 2022. Canada featured next with a 15.15% share, up 25% over the previous month. Ireland recorded a 3.03% share, a decline of 66.67% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead McKesson IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 45.45%, down by 11.76% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 45.45% share, a decline of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
