June 2022 has seen a decrease of 4.5% in the overall hiring activity when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 1.24% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in June 2022, registering an increase of 0.03% over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in North America with a share of 30.72% in June 2022, a 15.96% rise over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 26.21% in June 2022, marking a 26.42% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 19.9% in June 2022, a 26.15% drop from May 2022.
Miscellaneous Computer Occupations registered a share of 11.22% in June 2022, a 17.08% decline over the previous month.
Top five healthcare companies in North America’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 13.48% in the overall IT recruitment activity of North America’s healthcare industry during June 2022 over previous month.
Intermountain Healthcare posted 408 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered an increase of 73.62% over the previous month, followed by CVS Health with 140 jobs and a 10.26% drop. Laboratoryof America Holdings with 74 IT jobs and McKesson with 59 jobs, recorded a 17.46% rise and a 55.26% rise, respectively, while Apria Healthcare Group recorded a 70.55% decline with 43 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in North America’s healthcare industry
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 97.52% share in June 2022, a 14.06% decrease over May 2022. Canada featured next with a 2.48% share, down 15.38% over the previous month. recorded a flat share, a flat growth compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.47%, down by 16.96% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 29.82% share, registered a growth of 3.73% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.71% share, down 29.84% over May 2022.
