
US-based company PepsiCo’s IT hiring rose 19.5% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 9.78% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.19% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.74% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops PepsiCo IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by PepsiCo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55.13% in February 2022, and an 115% rise over January 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.67% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 27.78%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.38% in February 2022, a 140% rise from January 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at PepsiCo
North America emerged as the leading region in the global just drinks IT hiring activity in February 2022 with an 83.33% share, which marked a 91.18% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 8.97%, registering a 30% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 5.13% share and a flat growth over January 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.56% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s just drinks industry IT hiring activity with an 82.05% share in February 2022, a 120.69% growth over January 2022. Spain featured next with a 3.85% share, down 40% over the previous month. India recorded a 2.56% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead PepsiCo IT hiring activity in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46.15%, up by 28.57% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 42.31% share, a growth of 106.25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.54% share, up 50% over January 2022.
