The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 0.23% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the just drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.11% share in April 2022, recording an increase of 0.43% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in the US’s just drinks industry’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.92% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s just drinks industry in April 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 58.06% in April 2022, registering an 18.68% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 15.59% share, an increase of 107.14% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.29%, registering a 27.59% decline from March 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.99%, up 44.44% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 29.66% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s just drinks industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
PepsiCo posted 55 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 12.24% over the previous month, followed by Carlsberg with 46 jobs and a 17.95% growth. Coca-Cola Consolidated with 23 IT jobs and The Coca-Cola with 16 jobs, recorded a 64.29% growth and a 23.08% growth, respectively, while Niagara Bottling recorded an increase of 333.33% with 13 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, up by 36.26% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.2% share, registered a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 13.44% share, up 31.58% over March 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.69%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
