US-based MRI system developer Aspect Imaging has received an Innovative Technology contract from Vizient, the US’ largest provider-driven healthcare performance improvement company.
The contract is for Aspect Imaging’s Embrace Neonatal MRI System, a point-of-care solution for neonatal neuroimaging.

The Embrace system is designed to meet the imaging requirements of premature and newborn infants, providing vital data to the care staff while complying with the unique needs of neonatal patients.
Its features include a temperature-controlled patient bed and Whisper Quiet sound profile, which makes it suitable for use in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
The MRI system has received regulatory approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is CE-approved for sale in the European Economic Area.
