Atlas Associates Clinic, a provider of primary care services, has introduced house call services for patients in Singapore.
These services are aimed at reducing inconvenience and stress of patients while going through an unfamiliar ambience.
They target elderly patients, families with young children as well as individuals with limited mobility.
Services offered include vaccinations, preventive care, medicine prescriptions, and general consultations.
Commenting on the latest move, Atlas Associates Clinic’s Dr Eugene Chan said: “The discomfort of travelling when unwell can discourage people from seeking the medical attention they need.
“By bringing healthcare closer to patients, we are removing barriers to diagnose and manage diseases early.”

By GlobalDataTo book an appointment, one needs to contact the clinic, following which a fully equipped medical professional will come at the patient’s residence.
Through this move, the clinic looks to address the needs of patients who are hesitant to visit a clinic over concerns about virus exposure.
Chan added: “If you have family members who are intimidated by hospitals and clinics, getting healthcare delivered to your home can put them at ease to receive treatment for the first time in years.”
“It’s easier to build strong relationships with patients when they feel safe and comfortable with healthcare providers.”
Atlas Associates Clinic offers access to medicines, vaccinations as well as health screenings, and management of chronic diseases.
It incorporates the Community Health Assist Scheme along with Corporate Insurance plans.
