Cleveland Clinic is collaborating with the City of Middleburg Heights and Premier Development Partners to build a new medical outpatient centre in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, US.

The new Cleveland Clinic Middleburg Heights Family Health Center will be constructed on the site of the former K-Mart store which is situated at 17840 Bagley Road.

Work on the project involves complete renovation of the 93,000ft2 former retail structure space, which has been vacant since 2019, to accommodate the new health centre.

Premier Development Partners president Spencer Pisczak said: “This new Cleveland Clinic location will transform vacant space into a community asset and offer convenient healthcare access for more than 180,000 people living in Middleburg Heights and surrounding communities.

“Premier and Cleveland Clinic worked extensively to optimise a space that was vacant for over three years.”

Slated to open next year, the new centre will also have a lab and a drive-thru pharmacy.
