Fox Chase Cancer Center has expanded its services with the opening of a new office in Voorhees, New Jersey, US. 

Located at 502 Centennial Boulevard, Suite 7, the new site provides specialised treatment for a variety of urologic oncology conditions, benign urologic issues, radiation oncology consultations as well as offers plastic and reconstructive surgery. 

This is also the first Fox Chase facility in New Jersey. 

The new office is equipped to cater to patients with prostate, kidney, adrenal mass, penile, bladder, testicular, ureteral, and urethral cancer.  

It also addresses other conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction, haematuria, urethral stricture, and kidney stones.  

In addition to urologic care, the facility provides consultations for plastic and reconstructive surgery for breast, head, and neck sarcomas, as well as radiation oncology consults for prostate and bladder cancer.

Fox Chase president and CEO Robert Uzzo said: “Roughly 20% of our current patients come to one of our Philadelphia locations from New Jersey. We are very excited to now be able to offer care closer to home for these patients. 

“With a urology department that is nationally recognised for its excellence, patients can now receive care at a more convenient location from a team renowned for its knowledge of both the management of urologic cancers and benign urologic conditions.” 

The new location has a team of experienced providers, including the Department of Urology chair Alexander Kutikov, and the Department of Radiation Oncology chair Eric Horwitz. 

Sameer Patel, the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery chief, and Andres Correa, director of Research for the Department of Urology, are also among the specialists available at the new site.
