The solutions were provided by eClinicalWorks, a Massachusetts-based ambulatory cloud EHR solution provider.

The Beverly, Massachusetts-based paediatric medical practice now leverages the healow suite of patient engagement tools. healow is an EHR-agnostic, cloud-based platform for patients, hospitals, and health systems.

The patient engagement tools deployed by Garden City Pediatric Associates include healow CHECK-IN, Kiosk, Patient Portal, and PRISMA.

healow CHECK-IN enables patients to check in for appointments from their smartphone or computer prior to an appointment. As a result of this contactless solution, in-office delays are minimised and patients can get updated information from their homes.

With Kiosk, the medical practice allows its patients to check in for their appointments, confirm insurance information, and answer questionnaires, following which, it then connects that information directly to the EHR. This capability allows front-office staff to save time and focus on other administrative tasks and help patients.
