hellocare.ai has secured $47m in an oversubscribed funding round for its AI-assisted virtual care platform to transform hospital rooms into smart, connected care environments.

The investment round, led by HealthQuest Capital, includes contributions from a strategic alliance of health systems and digital health investors, including UCHealth, Bon Secours Mercy Health, OSF Ventures, and LRVHealth.

The platform, already implemented in more than 70 health systems, offers a suite of virtual care services.

These include AI-assisted virtual nursing, sitting, consultations, digital whiteboards, ambient documentation, patient engagement, and hospital-at-home services.

The funding will support hellocare.ai’s rapid expansion as it responds to increasing demand for its unified virtual care platform.

hellocare.ai founder and CEO Labinot Bytyqi said: “Health systems are asking for a proven, unified virtual care platform to simplify care delivery, drive clinical efficiency, reduce burnout, and increase patient engagement, and that’s exactly what we’ve built.

“With this funding, we’re partnering with some of the leading health systems to scale fast and go deeper into AI to solve healthcare’s toughest care delivery and operational challenges.”

hellocare.ai’s technology stack is purpose-built and fully in-house, combining software, hardware, AI, and an electronic health record (EHR) integration engine.

This approach ensures fast, customisable, and continuous innovation.

The platform’s integration with AI and flexible hybrid clinical care team models allows health systems to scale hybrid care, provide care remotely, and enhance patient experiences through a single, integrated solution.

HealthQuest Capital partner Randy Scott said: “hellocare.ai’s technology and vision are very closely aligned with the evolving needs of health systems.

“They are solving real problems at scale, with a practical and powerful platform that delivers measurable impact.”

AdventHealth is deploying hellocare.ai in over 50 hospitals and more than 13,000 patient rooms in an enterprise-wide implementation.

Bon Secours Mercy Health and UCHealth, both investors and customers of hellocare.ai, are using the platform to transform virtual care delivery and improve patient engagement within their systems.
