MultiCare Health System’s division Indigo Health has collaborated with virtual primary care company 98point6.
Under the collaboration, 98point6 will provide its virtual primary care platform to Indigo Health to support its digital engagement efforts with providers and patients.

MultiCare Health System will be marked as the first health care system to license 98point6’s virtual care technology.
The technology improves access in the health care systems and expedites the adoption of the on-demand virtual primary care.
98point6 president Jay Burrell said: “Indigo Health’s strategic partnership is a major milestone toward our vision to make achieving optimal health a reality for everyone.
“Labour shortages, lagging technologies, and a dynamic market have placed tremendous pressure on health systems to innovate across their customer journey, technology infrastructure, and operating models.”

It supports patient safety, outcomes, quality control, and adherence to best medical practices.
Additionally, the platform can integrate with health plan resources and the employer point solutions for making patients aware of other available benefits that help them engage with their health.
MultiCare Retail Health president Ryan Fix said: “Our strategic partnership with 98point6 will help us scale our digital capabilities to meet community demand and bring a new level of meaningful engagement to our customers.
“The health care landscape is changing quickly, with big players in the technology and healthcare sectors making significant investments in this direction.”
Furthermore, 98point6 raised more than $20m funding from investors to scale the new offering.
Growth Fund of L Catterton and Activant Capital are the existing investors in the financing.
