AORN SG Moscati in Italy has become the first public hospital to trial augmented reality (AR) healthcare solutions developed by Vection Technologies.
Vection entered into a initial trial agreement with Moscati hospital and Luiss Business School.
The trial will help integrate AR solutions in the Italian Model for Risk Management in Healthcare promoted by the business school.
Luiss Business School Executive Education and Life-Long Learning associate dean Enzo Peruffo said: “We are pleased to have signed this initial trial with Vection Technologies to introduce real-time solutions within the Italian Model for Risk Management in Healthcare.
“Augmented reality represents the key to the digital healthcare transformation, potentially transforming healthcare practices across all critical functions, from training to in-practice usage.”
During the trial, Vection’s AR Healthcare solutions will be incorporated within the Moscati hospital.
