The DuPage Medical Group in Illinois, US, has deployed Merge Healthcare’s iConnect® Access and the Merge Eye Care suite.
iConnect Access will provide access to medical images, which can be viewed without downloading, from any approved web-based device.
iConnect’s single, multi-speciality viewer can be used to access images from radiology, cardiology, and other image intensive areas from multiple departments, the company said.
Merge Eye Care Solutions will offer a set of solutions for ophthalmic image and informatics, which include Merge EyeScan™, Merge Eye Station™ and Merge Eye Care PACS™.
Merge EyeScan is a portable imaging device with diagnostic capabilities for both the anterior and posterior segments, while Merge Eye Station is image capture software used to convert an existing fundus camera or slit lamp to a fully-digital system with digital images to efficiently diagnose and treat the patients.
Merge Eye Care PACS is a web-based image management system that automatically imports images and diagnostic reports from multiple diagnostic devices into a single, web-based system, and review.
