"The eight DX-D 100 mobile DR systems will be used in the emergency department, operating rooms, and intensive care units."

These suites are used for different imaging exams including chest, abdomen and spine, as well as extremity work for both in-patient and ambulatory care.

Agfa HealthCare North America DR business director Ueli Laupper said: "Massachusetts General Hospital is a longtime user of Agfa HealthCare’s CR systems.

"They selected Agfa HealthCare’s DR systems because of the outstanding image quality our digital solutions deliver with MUSICA image processing and the productivity improvements they offer with Agfa HealthCare’s acquisition workstation.

"We are very pleased to expand our relationship with one of the most prestigious healthcare facilities in the US. They are pioneers and leaders in the field of patient care, and we look forward to their guidance as we continue to develop new technologies and systems to aid their efforts in providing excellent care."
