The Air Care programme will provide air transport to Woman’s high-risk maternal and neonatal patients.

Under the deal, Reach will provide paramedics, pilots, aviation maintenance technicians and an EC-135 helicopter able to carry an incubator or isolette.

Woman’s will provide neonatal and maternal nurses to complete the emergency flight teams.

Facilities at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas include an antepartum unit, 36 labour and delivery rooms, a medical surgical unit and Level II and III neonatal intensive care nurseries.
