This service is particularly significant for Nicklaus Children’s, as it caters to a diverse patient population, with 56% being Hispanic and 32% Spanish-speaking.

According to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, since November 2023, the platform has facilitated approximately 36,742 searches, connecting patients with appropriate providers at the hospital.
Nicklaus Children’s Patient Access manager Leigh Bouskila Turk said: “We are very proud to be one of the first paediatric medical practices in Florida to offer online scheduling for select primary and speciality appointments, and we will continue to expand this service to meet our community’s needs.”
