Pathos AI has secured $237m in a Series E financing round to expand its clinical oncology pipeline and scale its AI drug development platform.
The transaction values the US-based biotechnology company at approximately $3bn post-money.

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) led the funding round, with further capital provided by existing investors.
Pathos AI will use the proceeds to scale its platform, Foundry, and advance four active clinical cancer programmes.
The first two assets are AZD4241, an estrogen receptor proteolysis-targeting chimera (ER PROTAC) developed with AstraZeneca, and DO-2, a mesenchymal-epithelial transition (MET) kinase inhibitor.
Pathos AI is also advancing JSKN016, a trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 / human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (TROP2/HER3) bispecific antibody-drug conjugate being prepared for registrational trials, and pocenbrodib, developed for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM).
Pathos AI also maintains clinical programmes targeted at ER+/HER2- breast cancer, MET-altered non-small-cell lung cancer, and solid tumours that express TROP2/HER3.
Pathos CEO Iker Huerga said: “We are building a platform to systematically improve the probability of success in drug development. Foundry has fundamentally accelerated our ability to identify highly promising clinical assets and integrate them into our pipeline.
“This capital allows us to rapidly scale our AI engine while actively steering our current programmes toward key clinical milestones, ensuring we deliver the right therapies to the right patient populations.”
Operating via specialised AI agents, the Foundry system continuously gathers and evaluates data across drug programmes.
The platform reviews biological specimen findings, clinical trial metrics, genomic data, and competitor movements to determine subsequent project steps.
Pathos AI uses this incoming intelligence to identify specific patient sub-populations, redirect clinical trial strategies, and remove high-risk drug projects early in the development lifecycle.
In May 2025, Pathos AI raised $365m in a Series D funding round as it prepares to widen its AI-enabled platform to advance the development of oncology drugs.
