US-based healthcare real estate developer PMB has opened the Helen Caloggero Women’s and Family Center in Orange County, California, in collaboration with Providence St Joseph Hospital.
Located on South Main Street, the four-storey facility will provide healthcare benefits, resources and access to a range of vital women’s health services to residents in Orange County.

It aims to serve as a hub for a variety of mother-baby and women’s health specialities and services, including maternal mental health services and a maternity wellness facility to assist women to navigate through their pregnancy journey.
The 137,000ft² centre will also include Providence Medical Foundation obstetrics and gynaecology service, along with pelvic health and rehabilitation-related services.
The facility will feature a federally qualified health clinic named La Amistad, which will offer obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatric care services to underserved communities.
The Helen Caloggero Women’s and Family Center will also offer combined imaging and breast health services under one roof, with PMB planning to add a 9,000ft² imaging centre to the facility later this year.

Providence St Joseph Hospital Orange chief executive and Providence St Joseph Hospital Orange County/High Desert service area chief executive Brian Helleland said: “We wanted to create an environment that provides women and families with easier access to well-coordinated care.
“The integration of advanced technologies and collaboration of care teams in this space ensure that women and families will receive excellent care at all stages of their lives.”
Construction on the Helen Caloggero Women’s & Family Center began in September 2021.
The general contractor for the project is Snyder Langston, while PMB Real Estate Services, PMB’s management company, has been appointed as property manager.
Boulder Associates’ Orange County office is serving as architect for the project.
