Occupational health services provider Concentra has expanded its presence in the US with the opening of a new medical centre in Florida.
Dubbed Concentra Hialeah, the centre is situated at 855 East 8th Avenue, Hialeah.
At the centre, Concentra will offer physical therapy, work injury care, drug testing, pre-placement exams, US Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations, and other employer-related health services.
The centre will also offer telemedicine for minor work injuries through the Concentra Telemed platform.
Concentra operates an extensive network of more than 625 locations across the US, delivering occupational health and urgent care services.
The addition of the Hialeah centre further strengthens Concentra’s Florida presence and supports the company’s ability to serve employers and their workforce with comprehensive medical care at convenient locations and times.
Concentra medical operations senior vice-president Janet Cobb said: “Hialeah has shown great potential for Concentra.
“By optimising our presence in Hialeah, we intend to serve more employers and provide greater access to care.”
Concentra’s 13,000 colleagues and affiliated clinicians and physicians support a wide range of occupational and consumer health services delivery, alongside direct-to-employer care.
These services reach more than 50,000 patients daily, from 628 occupational health centres and 409 on-site health clinics at employer locations in 47 states as of September 2025.
Earlier in the month, Concentra opened a new medical centre in Corona, California.
In August, the company launched another medical centre in Union City, Georgia.
