Getinge and SteriPro International have entered a strategic partnership to support safer workflows and a scalable approach for surgical services in North American sterile processing departments.
The partnership will integrate Getinge’s sterile automation, processing equipment, and digital workflow systems with SteriPro’s experience in off-site reprocessing operations.
It aims to improve transparency, cost efficiency and quality for healthcare facilities across the region.
Getinge has a global workforce of around 12,000 employees and sells its products in more than 135 countries. It supplies products and solutions designed to optimise workflows and enhance clinical outcomes.
The company’s products are intended for cardiovascular procedures, operating rooms, solutions for intensive care, life sciences, and sterile reprocessing.
Getinge North America, sales, surgical workplaces, infection control and digital health solutions, senior national director Julia Elner said: “SteriPro operates one of the largest off-site reprocessing centres in North America and supports hospitals with comprehensive medical device reprocessing expertise.

Headquartered in Mississauga, Canada, SteriPro operates an accredited off-site reprocessing centre in North America.
In October 2025, Philips and Getinge announced a collaboration in Europe aimed at facilitating hospitals’ access to an integrated anaesthesia and monitoring solution.
