HealthTree Foundation has expanded connections for its platform, now including Flatiron Health and CareSpace electronic health record (EHR) systems within its integration network.
This update extends HealthTree's reach to over 7,300 connected treatment centres and health systems across the US.
The integration of Flatiron Health and CareSpace supports more than 800 facilities across the country.
HealthTree leverages Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) connections to enable secure sharing of medical data between systems.
Patients and clinical teams can quickly access treatment details, lab results, and unified health records.
HealthTree CEO and founder Jenny Ahlstrom said: “Because of regulatory barriers, patients are the only stakeholders that are capable of pulling their medical records into a single patient health record.
“Having a single, complete medical record opens new opportunities to use AI for more personalised, data-driven care and gives patients a meaningful role in driving faster cures.”
The HealthTree Cure Hub platform allows patients to aggregate their health data, monitor labs, identify out-of-range values, and learn from others with similar diagnoses.
It provides personalised treatment options tailored to each user's disease history and previous medical interventions, empowering collaboration with care teams.
The platform’s clinical trial finder tool automatically matches eligible patients based on their profiles and supports enrolment.
Patients also have access to tools for reporting and addressing side effects, contributing to community-based solutions, and participating in anonymous surveys and research studies that help accelerate new treatments.
The Twin machine feature helps connect patients with similar disease histories to exchange experiences, while the disease-tracking tool offers convenient monitoring of health markers and facilitates second opinions.
Having enrolled more than 14,000 patients, the HealthTree Cure Hub is focused on providing users with a secure platform to control health information.
