US-based spine care provider Joseph Spine Institute has opened a clinic in St Petersburg, Florida, as part of its focus on providing patient-centred spine care.

The clinic will offer comprehensive diagnostic services, conservative treatments and surgical spine interventions to patients, aiming to provide personalised care with a focus on function, comfort and long-term wellness.

Located on 38th Avenue North, it aims to improve accessibility for patients in Pinellas County and the surrounding areas.

Joseph Spine Institute's founder, spine surgeon Dr Samuel Joseph Jr, will see patients at the clinic on the first and third Friday of every month.

Dr Joseph's clinical experience particularly covers minimally invasive and complex spine surgery.

He said: "We're thrilled to bring our philosophy of comprehensive, cutting-edge spine care to the St. Petersburg location near the HCA Hospital.

"This location allows us to better serve patients in Pinellas County and surrounding areas, and I look forward to seeing patients here personally on a regular basis."

The Joseph Spine Institute operates from multiple locations across Florida, which combine medical expertise with advanced technology in an effort to provide the best treatment outcomes.

Last month, the institute opened the Center for Regenerative Spine Medicine in Tampa, Florida, a facility offering minimally invasive regenerative treatments.

The centre serves patients from across the US and abroad, providing treatments such as stem cell procedures that utilise patients' own adipose cells.

It is equipped with biologic preparation labs and advanced imaging technology, and is staffed by a team of clinical experts focused on personalised, patient-centred care.

The Center for Regenerative Spine Medicine is claimed to be one of the US' first clinics to focus exclusively on regenerative spine treatments.

Over the next 12 months, Joseph Spine Institute plans to open satellite centres across Florida to support the Tampa facility.
