Kadisco and MindHYVE.ai will investigate pilot programmes across three key areas.

Kadisco General Hospital in Ethiopia has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MindHYVE.ai for transforming healthcare with agentic AI.

This collaboration aims to expedite AI-driven healthcare innovation, improve operational efficiency, and build workforce capacity in Ethiopia.

It will also implement the California Institute of Artificial Intelligence's Dawn Directive programme, which focuses on AI literacy and ethics training with ArthurAI's corporate learning platform (CLP) for development and workforce learning.

Under the MoU, Kadisco and MindHYVE.ai will investigate pilot programmes across three key areas: clinical innovation, hospital operations, and workforce development.

The partnership will deploy AI to enhance treatment recommendations, diagnostics, predictive analytics, and patient monitoring to improve outcomes.

AI will also be leveraged to optimise resource allocation, revenue cycle processes, medication management, and scheduling.

Workforce capacity-building will provide AI literacy and ethics education for administrators and clinicians while also reinforcing compliance training and internal leadership through the CLP.

Kadisco General Hospital handles over 50,000 patient visits and 15,000 emergency cases each year.

By collaborating with MindHYVE, the hospital aims to improve diagnostic accuracy, optimise hospital operations, and broaden the availability of specialised care.

The Dawn Directive aims to train up to 500 administrators, staff, and clinicians within its inaugural year.

MindHYVE.ai founder and CEO Bill Faruki said: "This collaboration is about redefining what's possible in African healthcare. By combining Kadisco's reputation for excellence with our agentic AI systems, we aim to create a scalable model for clinical innovation and workforce empowerment in Ethiopia and beyond."

Kadisco General Hospital engineering director Ismael Khalifa said: "Kadisco has always strived to be at the forefront of medical excellence. Partnering with MindHYVE allows us to embrace cutting-edge AI technologies while ensuring our clinicians and staff are prepared for the future of healthcare.”
