LCMC Health has selected Nabla to support the systemwide deployment of ambient AI technology across its network in New Orleans, US.
LCMC Health comprises eight hospitals, associated physician practices, urgent care centres, and employs over 2,800 clinicians and facilitates nearly 1.5 million yearly patient visits.
The organisation provides both specialist and comprehensive care in collaboration with Tulane University School of Medicine and LSU Health Sciences Center.
By integrating Nabla’s ambient AI solution into its Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, LCMC Health seeks to capture clinician–patient conversations and generate structured, high-quality clinical notes.
LCMC Health also plans to utilise Nabla’s at-cursor dictation functionality, enabling clinicians to choose between dictation, ambient, or hybrid documentation methods to suit their workflow.
The platform offers both dictation and ambient AI tools on desktop and mobile devices through a single vendor.
LCMC Health associate chief medical information officer Dr Aaron Thompson said: “We evaluated several ambient AI scribe products and in the end decided on Nabla due to their personal support, customisability, and collaboration.”

LCMC Health is a not-for-profit hospital system and serves the Gulf Coast region’s healthcare needs.
It operates Manning Family Children’s, Lakeside Hospital, East Jefferson General Hospital, Lakeview Hospital, New Orleans East Hospital, Touro, University Medical Center New Orleans, and West Jefferson Medical Center.
In September 2025, Medline announced a multi-year prime vendor agreement with LCMC Health for distribution services and supply chain expertise.
